From March 2026, Chinese Administration started to rectify of the "120W Trademark" Chaos

Joint action has been carried out by the National Intellectual Property Administration and the State Administration for Market Regulation:

• Fully reject and invalidate misleading power trademarks such as "120W".

• E-commerce platforms remove batches of falsely labeled chargers whose trademarked power does not match actual output.

• End the misleading practice of labeling 120W while delivering only 22.5W, protecting consumer rights.
